Abstract. Subekti N, Milanio RR. 2023. Termite diversity and abundance based on altitude in Mount Ungaran, Central Java, Indonesia. Biodiversitas 24: 3332-3337. Termites are social insects whose main diet is the cellulose lignocellulose found rotting wood some fungi. As Ungaran area Indonesia, has been converted to agriculture other purposes, termite habitat become increasingly narrow, with a reduction insects’ food sources. The purpose of this study was analyze species termites factors that influence their lives. In addition, differences according slope (north, south, east, west) were assessed. This research conducted three stages: collection, identification, data analysis. Coptotermes curvignathus Holmgren, 1913, Odontotermes javanicus 1912, Macrotermes gilvus Hagen, 1858, Nasutitermes matangensis Haviland, 1898, Bulbitermes constrictiformis 1914. Based Shannon-Wiener analysis, west had highest index, which primarily influenced by four environmental (soil pH, soil temperature, moisture, rainfall). canonical relationship correspondence light intensity, canopy cover most affected Ungaran. conclusions can be drawn from richness varied between slopes associated variation cover.

متن کاملA history of Floral diversity (pollen, spores and algal) during the latest Holocene in the Bandung basin based on palynological analysis in Cihideung, West Java, Indonesia
Floral diversity is a measure of number of type flora in an area, and reflects how vegetation develops in response to the environmental condition during a certain time interval. The present study aims to examine changes in the diversity of vegetation (pollen, spores and algae), evenness, and similarity in the Bandung Basin through a core of 240 cm depth using a ground drill, as well as the ...
